Inspired by the Red Dress that has travelled the world over the past few years.
If you like to do embroidery, this will be a good one for you!
6 sessions of embroidery onto fabric.
Each piece of fabric will form part of a dress. Once the dress pieces are complete they will be stitched together to make the dress.
This will then be on display in the Museum.
There are only 12 spaces, so please book quickly.
What's involved?
This is a set of 6 workshops to embroider on some calico fabric to make a beautiful dress that will be on display in the museum.
The workshops will be held in the education room of Wardown House Museum.
There are 6 sessions and we would like you to attend as many of these as possible.
The sessions are on Mondays 10am -1pm
12th May & 19th May
2nd June, 9th June, 16th June & 23rd June
You will design and embroider a pattern onto some Calico fabric. Once complete the pieces will be stitched together to form a dress that will then be on display in Wardown House Museum
All tools will be supplied- rings, needles and some lovely threads.
